The Hobgoblins, stronger and taller cousins of the Goblins and worshiper of the Goblin god Grimbog, are among the most ancient and cruel races that lives in the Falgor Swamp, a wild and inhospitable land on the edge of the Deeproots forest.
For centuries, the Blackrazor tribe stuggled to survive against the continuous attacks by the Gurunda and other Hobgoblins tribes, until the shaman Bogtraz Murkytongue discovered a way to model the only mineral found in the swamps, the Blackiron.
No longer they fought with bone clubs, but began to forge blackiron blades, shields, armors, and the fearsome arbalests.
In a short time, the Blackrazor became a relentless army, their number grew out of proportions, as their hunger for power and conquest. The surrounding tribes had to surrender to the strength of the Blackrazor, who became the only Hobgoblins tribe in Falgor Swamp absorbing trough violence the weaker ones.
This new force of despair and destruction, guided by the Hobgoblin Queen's thirst for power, is now looking to extend their kingdom over the civilized cities and towns in Rotvar.

Bogtraz Murkytongue (modular hero)
After facing a mystical journey under the guidance of the Queen in the depths of Falgor Swamp, he returned to his brothers with the mystic formula to shape and forge the Blackiron, a gift from the god Grimbog himself.
This gift changed the tribe forever, and earned him the title of High Shaman, and become the advisor of the Hobgoblin Queen Trixia.
Thanks to the new blackiron equipment, the tribe expanded more and more, and declared war to all the surrounding factions and races who always menaced the existence of the Blackrazors.

Bogtraz on Blackrazor Rock Troll - Blackrazor Hobgoblin (Modular Hero & Beast)
This Troll Lord was found by the shaman Bogtraz on the verge of death, surrounded by a massive dead army of Arverian and few survivors.
After the Shaman struck the death blow to the Arverian Hero who wounded the Troll, he used the shaping spell provided by his god to enhanced the Troll regeneration and fused his thick skin with pure Blackiron. The Troll lord, pleased by his new power, became a faithful follower of the Bogtraz and his tribe. From that day on, he has obeyed his masters, devastating and wreaking havoc wherever he is ordered to.

Uzgrot Razorcloak (modular hero)
Champion of the Hobgoblins troops.
As per tradition every year, in the month of the icy mist, the best warriors of the tribe compete in a bloody arena in which the only one survivor is elected as Hobgoblin Champion, a warrior who has the honor of leading the troops during the raids and being the Queen's personal guard.
Uzgrot has been the undisputed champion for 12 years in a row, and now has more than 400 underlings.

Trixia the Hobgoblins Queen (Fantasy Pinup) & Throne
In the Hobgoblins tribes, only few women are able to conceive. These women, worshiped as deities, are raised as wisewomen and often become the queens of their tribe.
Thanks to their wisdom the Hobgoblins have endured and grown throughout history.
The evil Trixia of the Blackrazors grew up under the guidance of Bogtraz, and she was convinced in her childhood to be the true daughter of the Goblin God Grimbog.
Thanks to her dedication in the shamanic ways she learnt to speak with the Goblin God and received the location of the sacred spell used by Bogtraz to shape the Blackiron.
During the Great War of Falgor she ordered to kill all the other Hobgoblin Queens, and every other Hobgoblin woman as she discovered their fertility, going against all traditions.

Blackrazor Chariot - Blackrazor Hobgoblin Terrain Piece
Once used simply to transport Blackiron ores, these carts had been reinforced and attached to trained Razorbeast, transformed into battle Chariots to overwhelm the enemies of the tribes.
They are large enough to transport two Hobgoblin troops, one to lead the razorbeasts in battle and another to shot with a mighty arbalest.
